Surveying the Khmelnytskyi Region

The State Emergency Service (DSNS) is carrying out careful inspections of land around a military training ground in Khmelnytskyi region. Explosive items and dangerous materials found there are being removed and will be neutralized. Their teams are using modern robotic systems to keep these operations as safe as possible.

The DSNS has advised people not to go near the working area. A statement from the service also reminded the public: “If you see a suspicious or explosive object, leave it alone. Step back to a safe distance, warn others nearby, and immediately call 101 or 102.”

Public Safety

Inspecting territories close to military ranges is a key step toward preventing accidents, especially when there is a risk of unexploded ordnance. The DSNS pyrotechnic units play a major role in protecting communities, so following their instructions and reporting dangerous sightings can help save lives.

These operations show why it is necessary to keep monitoring areas that may have been contaminated with explosive remnants. This work remains an important way to lower hazards for civilians in regions affected by military activities.
