The Security Service of Ukraine continues to successfully counter acts of sabotage and Russian agent networks. Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk emphasized that thanks to the effective work of the service, most criminal activities that could have become terrorist acts were prevented.
“At first, the enemy limited himself to setting cars on fire, then he switched to using homemade explosive devices. However, we act effectively and almost 80% of such criminal activities are disclosed in advance, preventing them.”
Recently, 118 Russian agent networks were uncovered, and court proceedings have already begun. The Security Service is actively working to detain accomplices and is on the lookout for participants. Lieutenant General Maliuk emphasized the importance of cooperation with Western partners in the fight against hostile organizations and propagandists acting against Ukraine.
“Our war is a war of good against evil, and good will inevitably prevail. We are that good, so we continue to work and fulfill our mission.”
The efforts of the Security Service of Ukraine are directed towards protecting the country from external threats and maintaining national security. The result of this work is already a significant number of disclosed criminal acts and uncovered agent networks, which confirms the high level of efficiency of the Security Service's activities.
