The Security Service exposed a scheme for evading mobilization in the Odesa region
The Security Service of Ukraine reported the termination of a scheme for evading mobilization in the Odesa region. The head and two members of the local expert assessment team involved in the sale of fake medical certificates have been detained. More details about this are provided by Glavkom, citing a statement from the Security Service.
The wrongdoers issued invalid conclusions about the presence of serious illnesses for evaders, for which they received rewards ranging from 3 thousand US dollars. The scheme involved the chief cardiologist and a medical registrar. It was discovered that the fraudsters served at least fifty clients who were trying to avoid mobilization or were leaving the service.
The detained individuals received suspicion under Articles 368 part 3 and 114-1 part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine
So far, the suspects remain in custody and face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. It should be noted that there was a missile strike in the Odesa region, as a result of which one woman died and two men were injured.
