SBU uncovered a group of Russian agents who were correcting shelling in Odessa

In Odessa, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine discovered and detained two agents of the Russian intelligence service who were tasked with correcting strikes on military targets in southern Ukraine. This information was published by the SBU press service based on data from the 'Hlavkom' portal.

According to the case details, the agents were a rehabilitation doctor and a former employee of 'Ukrzaliznytsia', who were ordered by their Russian handlers to locate military facilities in southern Ukraine. Their responsibilities included providing information about the combat positions of Ukrainian troops defending Odessa and the waters of the Black Sea, as well as determining routes and geolocations of military trains.

The agents were detained during security measures for the locations of Ukrainian troops, and they have been charged under the Criminal Code of Ukraine and remain in custody without the right to bail. They may face life imprisonment with property confiscation.
