Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) counterintelligence has apprehended an 18-year-old Kyiv resident accused of guiding a Russian aerial assault on the capital during the night of May 24. The suspect, recruited via the Telegram messaging app, now faces high treason charges. A court has ordered him held in pre-trial detention. The agent planned to relay this data in real time to a handler in Russia to prepare new strikes and adjust follow-up attacks on the city. He has been charged under Article 111, Part 2 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code, which covers high treason during martial law. If convicted, he faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
