СБУ затримала бізнесмена, який постачав сітки для протидії дронам в Росію.

Exposing an industrial group of companies

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) exposed a group of companies from Kyiv region that supplied materials for the establishment of anti-drone protection to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. According to the information, the network of these companies includes 39 Ukrainian enterprises engaged in the production of roofing and facade products. The actual owners of this group are a Ukrainian businessman and his son, who moved to Russia before the full-scale war began.

Actions and consequences

The son of the suspect controls two companies located in Belgorod and Reutov, which are branches of a Ukrainian business structure. Both enterprises in the territory of the Russian Federation are involved in the production of metal structures. One of their orders is the supply of anti-drone nets for the needs of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. In addition, the suspects financed the armed aggression of the Russian Federation by paying taxes to the Russian budget and making direct investments in the military-industrial complex.

According to the materials of the case, profits from business in Ukraine were transferred to controlled offshore companies registered in the names of front persons. Subsequently, these funds were used for currency transactions to the accounts of controlled Russian enterprises. As a result of operational measures, the SBU detained a senior suspect in Kyiv. He was informed of the suspicion under Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for aiding the aggressor state. The detainee is currently in custody without the right to bail.

At the same time, the son of the suspect, who is hiding in Russia, also received an in absentia suspicion for aiding the aggressor state. The Security Service plans to seize 30 apartments, 20 parking spaces, and 29 vehicles belonging to the suspects in the case. Pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

This case emphasizes the importance of Ukraine's fight against internal threats that may support aggression from the Russian Federation.

Detection of such schemes is part of a broader strategy of the SBU to neutralize financing of the armed conflict and ensure national security. Such actions can have serious consequences not only for the suspects but also for all enterprises conducting business in Ukraine, emphasizing the need to comply with legislation in wartime.
