In the World Cup qualifying match, Serbia lost to Albania with a score of 0:1, as a result of which Serbian coach Dragan Stojkovic resigned. The only goal in the match was scored by Rey Manaj, who celebrated the goal with a gesture of the double-headed eagle - the symbol of Albania.


Players from Albania sang on the plane a song about Adem Jashari from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

Media reports that many Albanians watched the match in the territory of Kosovo and North Macedonia. In the city of Tetova, there were insults towards Serbia, Albanian fans displayed KLA symbolism and chanted slogans about liberation. Fan groups from Macedonian clubs, consisting of Albanians, also participated in the event.



Success of the Ukrainian national team


The Ukrainian national football team defeated Iceland with a score of 3:5 in the World Cup qualifying match. The team also drew with Azerbaijan with a score of 1:1. However, earlier the Ukrainian team lost to France with a score of 0:2 in the qualifying match.


During the important match against France, Ukrainian fans supported the team by displaying a banner that read 'Fortress of Europe'.


After the match between Serbia and Albania, where the Serbian coach resigned after the defeat, the Ukrainian team showcased a successful game, defeating Iceland and drawing with Azerbaijan in the World Cup qualifying series.
