The Coordination Headquarters reported that among the released Ukrainians from Russian captivity, there is a positive trend, as the number of those previously considered missing has decreased. This indicates that the information about the released is becoming more reliable.

“Less than one percent of those returning were considered missing. These are almost unique cases,” explained Petro Yatsenko.

According to psychologist Olena Sek, the relatives of military personnel in captivity become a particularly vulnerable group, as Russian special services may use them for various manipulations and fraud, promising to return captives in exchange for information or ransom.

By analyzing the situation, it can be understood that the families of prisoners of war need special attention and protection, as they may fall under the influence of fraudsters and Russian special services trying to profit from their painful situation.
