Systemic Challenges in Ukraine
During an interview with political analyst Yuriy Romanenko, philosopher Serhiy Datsiuk argued that Ukraine's deep-rooted problems cannot be solved by repressing specific groups. Datsiuk also addressed the issue of emigrants and relocated businesses, highlighting the uncertainty over how to handle the situation.
"Only one question arises: are these still our people, or are they no longer ours?" - Serhiy Datsiuk.He emphasized that, according to the discourse of national radicals, emigrants might be rejected, even though the authorities have an interest in engaging them for elections and encouraging their return due to a domestic labor shortage.
Furthermore, Serhiy Datsiuk singled out internally displaced persons as the most vulnerable group. He stated they do not destabilize the state but require support. "They sit quietly, nobody listens to them, but it is precisely in them that we can see how destroyed our country is," the philosopher concluded.
