Series of explosions in Dnipropetrovsk region: threat and consequences
On the night of August 7, a series of powerful explosions shook the Dnipropetrovsk region. This is reported by 'Glavkom' citing monitoring channels.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that there is a threat of the enemy using strike drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Later, the Air Force noted that the drones were heading towards Dnipro. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the drone attack and reported that explosions could be heard in the city of Dnipro.
Lysak urged residents to seek shelter. Currently, monitoring channels report that numerous fires have erupted in the region following the drone attack.
The authorities have not yet commented on the consequences of the hostile shelling. It is reminded that the enemy attacked a service vehicle of the State Emergency Service on the evening of August 6, resulting in the death of one rescuer and two civilians.
Reports indicate that firefighters came under artillery fire while surveying the area after a previous enemy shelling. A direct hit was recorded on the State Emergency Service vehicle.
It should be noted that Russia attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region about 70 times throughout the day on August 6, striking three districts, resulting in several fatalities.
Events in the Dnipropetrovsk region indicate rising tensions in eastern Ukraine and the threat of drone attacks from the enemy. The attacks have caused casualties and significant material damage, highlighting the seriousness of the situation in the region.
