The conflict between singers Aurika Rotaru and Tonya Matviyenko has been resolved peacefully. Rotaru decided not to file a lawsuit, but forgave Tonya for using works without the authors' permission. The son of the legendary poet Yuri Rybcynski noted that they have already let Matviyenko go in order not to escalate the scandal around this situation.
«Yevhen slightly frightened Tonya… There could have been a trial if Tonya had filed a lawsuit against us herself – then we would have met in court. More precisely, not 'we' and not personally me, but the lawyers from the agency. But I say: it would have been enough for her to just ask… And then the matter wouldn't have reached any court… We talked to the Rybchynskys and have already forgiven Tonya those sins that were committed. For the memory of Nina, we decided not to escalate this scandal. By the way, I also didn't want everything to turn out this way»
Let us remind you that Tonya Matviyenko had previously been caught copying works that are not her own and was warned about a possible lawsuit due to these violations. However, the court process was avoided.
