Sharp AQUOS R11 Announced

Sharp has officially announced its new flagship smartphone, the AQUOS R11, which will hit shelves starting July 9. The company has yet to reveal the price for the unlocked version. This device comes in three color options: deep blue, ivory yellow, and terracotta red.

Measuring 156×74×8.9 mm and weighing 195 grams, the AQUOS R11 features a 6.5-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 and a peak brightness of up to 3600 nits. The front camera boasts a 50.3-megapixel sensor for high-quality selfies. A standout aspect of the AQUOS R11 is its camera system, which includes:

  • A rear triple Leica module consisting of:
    • A 50.3 MP main sensor
    • A 50.3 MP ultra-wide camera
    • A 38.5 MP telephoto lens
  • AI-powered camera features for enhanced photo quality.

Under the hood, the AQUOS R11 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Its 5100 mAh battery supports 36W wired charging. The smartphone also supports modern connectivity technologies including Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 7. Additionally, it boasts robust durability with water and dust resistance ratings of IPX5, IPX8, IPX9, and IP6X.

Xiaomi 17 Max Launch

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has launched its new model, the Xiaomi 17 Max, which is the largest device in its 17-series lineup. Its key feature is an 8000 mAh battery. The base version of the Xiaomi 17 Max (12/256 GB) is priced at 4299 yuan, approximately $630.
