Poland's Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, has publicly accused SpaceX founder Elon Musk of allowing Russian forces to use the Starlink satellite system to operate attack drones. Sikorski urged Musk to restrict Russian access to the technology, stating his appeal was based on evidence uncovered by Ukrainian specialists. This allegation highlights the growing challenge of controlling dual-use technology in modern warfare.

Investigators discovered a Starlink terminal integrated into a downed Russian BM-35 type drone. This finding confirms the operational use of satellite communications for real-time, long-distance drone control. In a direct challenge, Radosław Sikorski posed a critical question to Musk:

“Hey friend, Elon Musk, why not stop the Russians from using Starlink to attack Ukrainian cities? Making money from war crimes could damage your brand.” - Radosław Sikorski

In response, Elon Musk dismissed the accusation, suggesting Sikorski fails to grasp Starlink's critical importance for Ukrainian military communications.
