The forces of unmanned systems struck the Balaklava TPP and 28 other energy nodes

Безпілотники вразили Баларклавську ТЕС та інші енергетичні об'єкти країни.

Operation 'Crimean Switch Off'

The forces of unmanned systems within the operation 'Crimean Switch Off' struck another 29 energy nodes in temporarily occupied territories, including the Balaklava TPP in Sevastopol and a gas distribution station in Mariupol. SBS Commander Robert Brovdi noted that during the operation from July 1 to August 13, 240 energy nodes were effectively targeted.

Hit facilities

Among the hit facilities in Berdyansk were substations:

  • 'Berdyansk'
  • 'GPP'
  • 'Morska'
  • 'Fakel'
  • 'Lazurna'

Two of which were hit twice. Another Berdyansk substation was targeted by the 5th Battalion of the 414th Brigade with the assistance of the SBU. In the Zaporizhzhia region, the substations that were hit include:

  • 'Bilmak' in Kam'yanka
  • 'Prymorska'
  • 'Chernihivka'
  • 'Botiivska' in Prymorske Posad

Also, facilities in Andriivka and Sokologirne were targeted, with the Andriivka substation being hit twice by different units.

In Mariupol, the following substations were neutralized:

  • 'Misto-3'
  • 'NS-2'
  • 'Illich'
  • 'Misto-6'

As well as the gas distribution station GRS-1 'Mariupol'. In Donetsk region, the substation 'Volodarska' in Mykil'skoye was targeted, along with energy facilities in Vinnytsia, Rivnopillia, and Shyrokyne. In Luhansk, energy facilities in Svatove, Mykhailivka, Lozivske, and Arazivka were also targeted.

In carrying out the tasks of the operation, the following were involved:

  • 1st Separate SBS Center
  • 414th Brigade 'Madyar Birds'
  • 427th 'Rarog'
  • 411th 'Yastruby'
  • 412th 'Nemesis'
  • 20th 'K-2'
  • 9th SBS Brigade
  • 'Phoenix' grouping of the State Border Guard Service

As Robert Brovdi noted,

'the de-energization of stationary radars and other elements of the enemy's air defense disrupts the air defense system and opens the way for the Freedom-Loving Ukrainian Bird.'
Previously, the operation's tally counted up to 177 energy targets, but it has now increased to 240. The SBS offers to monitor the counter on the online scoreboard 'CALCULATOR'.

'Occupational Noir: +29 energy nodes in the South of TOT visited by the SBS Bird,' Brovdi summarized. He also assured:

'We will stand firm. Moscow will fall. We will nourish and rebuild Crimea.'

This operation demonstrates the ongoing efforts of Ukrainian forces in the battle for control over energy infrastructure in temporarily occupied territories, which can significantly impact the capabilities of Russian troops in the region. The high level of damage to energy nodes indicates the effectiveness of unmanned technology application in modern conflicts, becoming an important element in Ukraine's defense strategy.
