In the Huliaipole direction (Zaporizhia region), Ukrainian forces successfully defended against the advance of Russian troops and prevented them from capturing several settlements. Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, confirmed that the enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense, but our forces were able to stop them and are currently conducting countermeasures.
Despite the necessity to shift to new positions in some settlements due to increasing enemy fire activity, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are maintaining their defensive line and preventing the adversary from expanding their foothold. Although the conflict continues, the military continues to resist the advance of Russian troops.
Ukrainian units successfully repelled attacks and did not allow the enemy to secure important areas, which demonstrates the high combat readiness and effectiveness of the Ukrainian forces in this situation.
