Ukrainian Forces Target Occupier Logistics and Industry in Coordinated Strikes

Сили України завдають ударів по інфраструктурі й промисловості загарбників у скоординованих атаках.

Ukrainian Defense Operations in Temporarily Occupied Territories

In a series of coordinated strikes on April 9-10, Ukrainian defense forces targeted critical enemy infrastructure, including logistics hubs, ammunition depots, drone command posts, troop concentrations, and industrial facilities within temporarily occupied territories and inside Russia. These operations are part of an intensified campaign to degrade the invader's military capabilities and disrupt its supply lines. The strategic shift towards deep strikes is a key feature of Ukraine's current defensive strategy.

On April 9 and into the early hours of April 10, Ukrainian units successfully hit several high-value targets. These included:

  • an ammunition depot near Okhrimivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast;
  • a logistics hub in the area of Novoazovsk in Donetsk Oblast;
  • a fuel and lubricants storage site in the Rovenky district of Luhansk Oblast.

Fire was also directed at UAV control points in the areas of Huliaipole and Novohryhorivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as near Novopetrivka in Donetsk Oblast. The operations resulted in successful strikes on enemy troop concentrations near:

  • Novohryhorivka;
  • Chasiv Yar;
  • Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast;
  • Perevalsk in Luhansk Oblast;
  • Krasnooktyabrsky in Kursk Oblast of the Russian Federation.

In a separate action on April 5, the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, was struck. The attack disabled the AVT-2 primary oil processing unit and the LCh-24-7 diesel fuel hydrotreatment unit. Furthermore, on the night of April 10, Ukrainian forces successfully targeted two drilling platforms on the Caspian Sea shelf.

Joint Operations and Their Impact

A joint operation by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine resulted in the disabling of the Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works. These actions underscore a concerted effort by Ukraine to cripple key elements of the enemy's industrial and military infrastructure, aiming to impose long-term costs on Russia's war economy.

The strikes on critical adversary infrastructure, including ammunition depots and oil refineries, signal a strategic intensification by Ukrainian forces. These operations are likely to significantly impair enemy logistics and weaken its combat potential. The increased tempo of deep-strike missions also suggests Ukraine's intent to maintain pressure on occupation forces, leveraging new tactics and technologies to achieve its military objectives.

These recent operations highlight a significant escalation in Ukraine's military strategy, as evidenced by another successful strike on April 5, which targeted an oil facility deep within Russian territory. This action not only disrupted enemy logistics but also underscores the broader implications of Ukraine's intensified military efforts.
