Ukrainian Forces Destroy Four Russian Drone Command Centers, Including 'Rubikon' Unit in Berdyansk

Targeted Strikes on Russian Drone Command Posts

Over the past day, Ukrainian defense units successfully hit four Russian drone command centers located in occupied areas of Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Donetsk regions, as well as in Russia’s Bryansk region. Among these was the 'Rubikon' unit in Berdyansk, known as one of the most capable Russian drone hubs responsible for terrorizing civilians in frontline towns and villages.

Two additional command posts were taken out near Oleshky in Kherson and in the Bilytske area of Donetsk. The fourth target was situated in the Aleksandrovsky district of Bryansk, Russia. The exact scale of enemy losses is still being assessed. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces commented:

“Yesterday proved particularly unfavorable for Russian drone operators.”

Impact of Neutralizing Drone Command Centers

The disruption to Russian drone operations is already evident:

“Every command center destroyed means fewer Russian drones overhead threatening our troops and critical routes.”
Ukrainian forces vow to continue targeting key enemy military assets until Russia fully ends its armed aggression against Ukraine.

These successful strikes highlight the proactive measures Ukrainian forces are taking to defend the country’s territorial integrity and protect civilians. Destroying these command facilities significantly diminishes Russia’s capacity to launch drone attacks on Ukrainian positions. Strengthening control over the airspace may also influence the conflict’s future trajectory and shape the strategic approaches of both sides.
