Frontline Combat Update: July 7, 2026
On July 7, 2026, a total of 219 combat engagements occurred across the front, with intense fighting reported in multiple sectors. Russian troops launched 51 airstrikes, deploying 158 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, the invaders used 6,640 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,035 artillery strikes on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas. In the Sloviansk sector, defense forces halted 23 storming attempts, and in the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Nykyforivka twice. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian defenders also repelled nine enemy assaults.
Overall, total losses for the Russian army since the start of the full-scale invasion have exceeded 1.41 million military personnel.
