Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated seven settlements in Donetsk region: details of a successful operation

Operation of the Defense Forces in Donetsk


The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that the military operation to protect in Donetsk is ongoing. In particular, Ukrainian troops restored control over seven settlements, and in nine of them, enemy sabotage groups were identified and eliminated.


The advance of our troops into the depth of the enemy's defense ranges from three to seven kilometers. During the operation, we managed to liberate 160 km² and clear 171 km² of saboteurs. The losses of the Russian aggressor amounted to 2,456 people, of which 1,322 were irrecoverable.

The general also reported that it was possible to significantly increase the 'exchange fund' for the release of Ukrainian defenders from captivity. The enemy lost 817 units of weapons and military equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, automobiles, motorcycles, and other specialized equipment.



Information on the war between Ukrainian and Russian troops


Ukraine is experiencing the 1,304th day of full-scale war. The Russian troops have already carried out 55 airstrikes, using guided bombs and kamikaze drones. In addition, there have been numerous shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements.


In just one day, September 19, there were 124 combat clashes. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively resisting the plans of the Russian occupiers and trying to weaken their military capabilities.
