Ukrainian Defense Forces Strike Russian Targets
Between August 31 and the night of September 1, Ukraine's defense forces carried out strikes against Russian military assets at six locations. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the targeted sites were Donetsk, Hvardiiske, Myrne, Pology, Verkhnokamianka, and Borysivka. The strikes hit drone storage and launch positions, a communications hub, a command observation post, a staging area for military vehicles, and a fuel-and-lubricant depot.
In Donetsk (Donetsk region) and Hvardiiske, located in the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukrainian forces targeted facilities used for storing, preparing, and launching attack UAVs. In Myrne, also in occupied Crimea, a Russian communications node was struck. In Pology, Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers' command observation post was destroyed. A concentration of enemy military equipment was hit in Verkhnokamianka, Luhansk region, while a fuel-and-lubricant warehouse was destroyed in Borysivka, Belgorod region, Russia. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

These attacks are part of Ukraine's broader campaign to degrade Russian logistics and command capabilities.
