Ukrainian defense forces have destroyed the positions of Russian drone operators in the Zaporizhzhia direction. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, almost half of the enemy operators' living quarters were identified and destroyed.
It was also noted that Ukrainian troops identified 90 locations of enemy operators, of which 42 positions were destroyed or damaged. The operation called 'Droncid' is being conducted by the Active Actions Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense together with other military units.

According to former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, drones have become a very effective weapon that has helped Ukrainian forces change the situation on the battlefield. The mass use of drones has prompted Ukrainian engineers to develop and produce new unmanned aerial vehicles, which significantly affects the course of military operations.
It is planned that the engineering troops of Ukraine will establish thousands of kilometers of anti-drone corridors for further protection against enemy drones.
Ukrainian forces conducted a successful operation in the Zaporizhzhia direction, destroying the positions of Russian drone operators. The use of drones improved the situation at the front, forcing the enemy to reconsider its tactics, and prompted Ukrainian engineers to actively work on new military protection technologies.
