Death of Denis Kan

The defense forces eliminated the Russian occupier Denis Kan, who worked as an educator and was the champion of Russia in modern sword fighting. Denis Kan was born and worked as a rescuer. Since February 2016, he held the position of additional education educator at the Ivankiv Municipal District Center for Additional Education, where he taught young people.

Kan was also the head of the 'Military-Historical Club Avalon'. In 2018 and 2020, he won the title of champion of Russia in modern sword fighting. Under his leadership, the club prepared one world champion and three champions of Russia in this sport. Additionally, Kan was a prize-winner of the municipal stage of the 'Teacher of the Year' competition.

Military Path and Legacy

In June 2022, Denis Kan volunteered to join the war of Russia against Ukraine. Since November 2025, he was considered missing in action. Recently, it became known that his body was identified. Kan is survived by his wife and three children.
