The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Russian ship at the Lukoil platform in the Caspian Sea

On the night of December 19 of the specified year, the Defense Forces of Ukraine attacked a Russian military ship of project 22460, which was patrolling around the oil and gas platform in the Caspian Sea. Ukrainian drones inflicted certain damage to this ship. Information about the extent of the damage and the ship's number is being clarified, reports 'Glavkom' citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.



An drilling platform located at the Filanovskogo oil and gas field in the Caspian Sea was also damaged. This platform belongs to the company 'Lukoil', which is responsible for oil and gas production and supports the Russian aggressor's military. The damage inflicted to the platform and its further operability is currently being established.



Damaged radar system and other facilities


In addition, to limit enemy activity, the RSP-6M2 radar system near Krasnosilskoye in temporarily occupied Crimea was damaged. This system is used to organize air traffic, particularly for the landing of aircraft in conditions of limited visibility.



Earlier, drones from the Special Operations Center 'Alpha' of the SBU attacked several oil production platforms of the company 'Lukoil' on the shelf of the Caspian Sea.



As a result of the attacks carried out, it was possible to strike the ship, drilling platform, and radar system, which led to significant losses for the enemy and its capabilities in the region and its aggressive actions in general.
