Special forces of the Ukrainian army successfully destroyed a radar station in occupied Crimea. The operation took place overnight on August 30, 2025. As a result of the actions taken, the radar system of the S-300 complex was destroyed at the military airfield in the settlement of Saky. Ukrainian 'Flamingo' missiles also struck objects in Crimea, including the base of Russian border guards subordinate to the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

“On the night of August 29-30, 2025, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a series of special actions on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of the actions taken, the radar system of the S-300 complex was destroyed at the military airfield in the settlement of Saky,” the Armed Forces reported.

It should be noted that earlier, on the night of August 28, the troops of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also struck the radar complex 91N6E of the S-400 'Triumph' Russian military on the occupied territory of Crimea using a drone.

Ukrainian special operations forces continue to carry out actions against the occupiers' radar stations in Crimea, striking objects on the occupied territory. The events indicate active defense of Ukraine in the eastern part of the country and the intent to effectively prevent potential threats from the occupiers.
