Seven Ukrainian Women Enter the 2026 French Open Doubles Draw

Ukrainian Presence at Roland Garros 2026

A total of seven Ukrainian players have secured their spots in the 57-pair main draw of the women's doubles competition at the 2026 French Open. The tournament is scheduled to run from May 24 to June 7, 2026. The confirmed doubles participants include:

  • Marta Kostyuk
  • Dayana Yastremska
  • Anhelina Kalinina
  • Lyudmyla Kichenok
  • Nadiia Kichenok
  • Oleksandra Oliynykova
  • Yuliia Starodubtseva

Kalinina and Yastremska will compete as a pair. Lyudmyla Kichenok, making her twelfth appearance in the doubles event at Roland Garros, holds the best result among the Ukrainians—a semifinal run in 2022 alongside Jelena Ostapenko. In 2026, she will team up with American Desirae Krawczyk. Nadiia Kichenok is also entering the tournament for the twelfth time, partnering with Japan's Makoto Ninomiya. Her top achievement at the French Open came in 2024, when she reached the quarterfinals with Miyu Kato.

Ukrainian Tennis Players in Action

Marta Kostyuk will play in the main draw for the fifth time, with her best performance being a semifinal finish in 2024. She will pair up with Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse. Dayana Yastremska and Anhelina Kalinina, despite their participation, have yet to win a doubles match at this Grand Slam in France. Yuliia Starodubtseva is making her second appearance in the Roland Garros doubles draw, partnering with Poland's Magda Linette. Oleksandra Oliynykova, who qualified for a Grand Slam doubles main draw for the first time in her career, will play alongside Hungarian tennis player Panna Udvardi.
