Ukraine and the UN agreed on a humanitarian aid plan for 2026: key priorities

The Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity Denys Uliutyn met with the Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine Andrea de Domenico. They discussed the priorities of the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan for 2026: support for frontline areas, evacuation, assistance to the affected, support for internally displaced persons.



The importance of synchronizing the efforts of the state and international partners for the effective distribution of resources was emphasized. A new Strategy for Supporting IDPs is being formed, covering all stages of assistance from evacuation to integration into communities.



Partnership with European Institutions and a Digital Platform


A digital platform is being developed in partnership with European institutions, which will simplify the response to humanitarian needs. It was agreed to enhance coordination and data exchange for effective humanitarian response.



The meeting discussed cooperation between Ukraine and the UN in supporting the most vulnerable groups of the population and developing a digital platform for the rapid and effective provision of humanitarian assistance. The discussed plans provide hope for improving conditions for people in difficult life circumstances.
