Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. are investors in the Powerus startup. Shareholders in Aureus Greenway Holdings include the Trump family's investment fund, American Ventures, and Unusual Machines, a company specializing in drone component manufacturing.
Donald Trump Jr. is a shareholder and advisory board member of Unusual Machines. Powerus was co-founded by U.S. Special Operations Forces veteran Brett Veliko-wich, who stated,
"the company is in talks with Ukrainian drone makers to either buy them or license their technology for UAV production in the U.S."
