Syrskyi reported to Zelensky about stabilization measures at the front and new diplomatic steps

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, presented a report to President Volodymyr Zelensky on the situation at the front, focusing on the Pokrovsk direction, where the Russian army is concentrating the most.



According to Zelensky, who published the information on social media, in just eight months of this year, Russian losses in killed and severely wounded exceed 290 thousand soldiers. The occupiers suffered the greatest losses specifically in Donetsk, while achieving none of their strategic goals.



Stabilization in the sections of the front


The President reported that stabilization measures by the Ukrainian troops are currently underway in some sections of the front. 'I thank each unit that ensures the replenishment of the

exchange fund
for Ukraine; every week we see corresponding results,' Zelensky said.



Situation analysis and future plans


During the meeting, they thoroughly analyzed the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction and the intentions of the occupier, as well as the situation at the Sumy and Kharkiv borders. Based on the analysis results, new diplomatic steps have been planned.



Following the results of combat operations last week, the president recognized the 1st, 33rd, 225th, and 425th assault regiments, the 79th and 82nd airborne assault brigades, the 92nd separate assault brigade, the 414th separate drone brigade, the 14th operational assignment brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, and units of the special operations forces.



The report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the president emphasized the serious losses of Russian troops in Donetsk and indicates that several sections of the front are in a stable condition. Special attention is paid to analyzing the situation and future plans for enhancing Ukraine's defense.
