Syrskyi on the defense of Pokrovsk: the Russian offensive has slowed down

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that although the Russians are advancing on Pokrovsk, control over the fortifications in the area is still held by the Ukrainian military. He also mentioned that there are various action plans in case of any circumstances.



"Of course, there is also a 'Plan B' and a 'Plan C' – for all possible developments," Syrskyi emphasized.


He also emphasized that Russian forces have gathered near Pokrovsk, but Ukrainian forces are ready to defend their positions. He noted that logistical networks have been restored, and the weather conditions are favorable for this process.



The Battle for Pokrovsk


In the combat zone around Pokrovsk, the fighting has intensified so much that some areas are under the control of both sides, including civilian residential buildings. Each side is trying to demonstrate its superiority on the international level.



During the battle for Pokrovsk, both sides are actively advancing, trying to gain support and influence the events to strengthen their positions. The international community is closely monitoring the situation, as visible victories on the battlefield may affect the negotiation process and the future development of the conflict.
