Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskiy shared his thoughts on assault troops, active defense, and their effectiveness. He noted that the assault troops are brave and patriotic soldiers who have their own tactics and training. They are distinguished by high mobility and maneuverability, allowing them to operate effectively in difficult areas.
Protecting civilians, critical objects, and infrastructure from enemy air attacks is one of the main priorities of the assault troops. In developing a new type of troops in the Air Force, unmanned systems for air defense, such as interceptor drones that successfully eliminate enemy 'shaheds', play an important role.
'We are already in the process of creating a new type of troops in our Air Force - these are unmanned systems for air defense,' the general said.
Active work is being developed to form and enhance units equipped with these drones to strengthen the country’s defense and security.
