Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on false information

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that he sometimes receives false information from the battlefields, which can threaten the safety of military personnel and defensive positions.

Emphasizing the need for objectivity in information streams, Syrskyi noted that he uses various sources, including partner and intelligence sources, to provide truthful information. Even the well-known source 'DeepState' is used to obtain important data about possible threats.

«For example, I received an update from DeepState. We use all kinds of information sources for objectivity, including DeepState. I do not want to say that it is the 'last instance' in obtaining realistic information, as it can also make mistakes. But this is an information source that often helps to get data on the threat of losing positions», - he emphasized.

Applying a variety of sources for information retrieval

Syrskyi also emphasized the importance of using a wide range of sources for obtaining information, including intelligence data and information from partners. He noted the importance of using unmanned systems to provide important data regarding the combat situation.

«They fully control the entire front edge from the air and have information about the presence of military personnel in positions. That is, by obtaining information from many sources, we achieve its objectivity», - the commander added.

According to data available over the last 1010 days, the occupied part of Ukraine's territory constitutes less than one percent of the country's total area.

Syrskyi warns of a difficult situation at the front and emphasizes the continuation of Russia's strategic offensive operation, with the enemy focusing on the Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions.
