Oleksandr Syrskyi Visits Military Units in Donetsk
The Chief General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, visited Ukrainian military units that are currently engaged in fierce battles in the Donetsk region.
According to Syrskyi, the hottest points on the battlefield map remain the Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, and Novopavlivka directions. At the same time, the enemy is intensifying in the northern Donetsk area - towards Lyman.
'Our troops are conducting heavy defensive battles against the Russian invaders, repelling their assaults and responding to attacks,' the general emphasized.
During the visit, Syrskyi held meetings with brigade and corps commanders to gather detailed and objective information about the situation on the battlefield and military leadership. After listening to the needs and issues, he made necessary decisions to enhance defense resilience.
'The Armed Forces understand their great mission and are ready to carry out tasks. We are defending and liberating Ukraine,' the Commander-in-Chief stressed.
Syrskyi reported that the units in Donetsk are receiving comprehensive support and reinforcements for the successful execution of tasks.
During his working trip to the military units in Donetsk, General Syrskyi noted the activity and readiness of the Ukrainian military to carry out tasks for liberation and protection of the territory.
