Conference on the Development of the Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, held a conference dedicated to the development of the medical service, where priorities for January 2026 were defined. Among the key areas of discussion was the implementation of unmanned systems for the evacuation of the wounded, as well as the establishment of underground stabilization points.

Other aspects were also discussed at the conference, including the use of ground robotic complexes for the evacuation of the wounded. Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that the approach with unmanned platforms is already successfully applied in the Pokrovsk direction. He emphasized that

"the conditions of the modern battlefield are such that unmanned evacuation platforms are becoming the primary, and sometimes the only possible means of evacuating the wounded in complex tactical situations"
.

Syrskyi also listened to the report of the 81st brigade regarding the creation of underground stabilization points, which is another effective solution dictated by the realities of war. He added that

"the speed of their deployment directly affects the preservation of life"
. Additionally, the improvement of individual medical kits, which are an important element in providing medical assistance to servicemen during combat operations, was discussed at the conference.

Active Efforts of the AFU in Improving Medical Services

All this indicates the active efforts of the AFU in improving medical services for the military, with an emphasis on using modern technologies and adapting to the conditions of the current combat environment.

This conference underscores the strategic importance of medical innovations in wartime, where the speed and effectiveness of providing medical assistance can save lives. The implementation of new technologies, such as unmanned platforms, is an important step in enhancing the safety and readiness of the medical services of the AFU, which can significantly impact the overall situation at the front.
