The team’s management has shortlisted leagues in Poland, Romania, and Slovakia’s second division as top candidates. Financial Considerations and Future Plans
To join Romania’s league, the club would require an annual budget of €600,000–€700,000. Poland’s league is more expensive, demanding at least €1 million per season. Sokil plans to bring in 5–6 international players to strengthen the roster. A final decision on which league to enter will be made after Ukraine’s national team finishes competing at the World Championship.
Additionally, Sokil is evaluating several domestic developments:
- the potential return of Kherson’s Dnipro to competition,
- the creation of a new team in Bohuslav,
- and stabilizing the situation in Odesa’s Shtorm.
These factors are all influencing the club’s choice about participating in international tournaments.
