Ukrainian defenders continue to hold off the advance of Russian occupiers in the Siversk direction, where the situation remains critical but controlled.
As reported by Alexander, a pilot of the drone battalion 'Strizh' of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade 'Edelweiss', Ukrainian troops engage in fierce battles with the enemy every day.
The Russians are trying to break through the Ukrainian defense, using tactics of group attacks on ATVs and accumulating forces for further assaults. The city of Siversk has suffered extensive destruction from constant shelling.
'Siversk is practically destroyed, there is almost no civilian population left. We are doing everything to prevent the enemy from getting closer,' the soldier noted.
The occupiers are actively using heavy weaponry - mortars, artillery, and guided aerial bombs. The fighting in the airspace is particularly intense, where Russian troops use electronic warfare means to suppress Ukrainian drones.
However, Ukrainian UAV operators are successfully adapting to the new conditions of combat.
'We are adapting - changing frequencies, routes, and approaches to the target to maintain communication and work effectively. The enemy is also learning: changing settings, using interceptor drones, trying to shoot down our 'Mavics' and 'Wings'. But we are looking for ways to stay one step ahead,' emphasized 'Voron.'
Fighters of the 10th mountain assault brigade continue to successfully repel all enemy attempts to advance in this direction.
