The Union of Ukrainian Organizations of Bulgaria (SUOB) 'Mother Ukraine' is suing comedian Felix Redka for defaming their honor and destroying the grave of Professor Mykola Dragomanov. Felix Redka, acting as a blogger, claimed that representatives of SUOB destroyed the scholar's grave by removing the national flag and information plaque.
SUOB leader Elena Kotceva stated that Redka illegally interfered with the organization's work, provoking damage to the concrete base on the grave. As a result, SUOB 'Mother Ukraine' will be forced to incur additional financial costs for restoring the grave. The organization has refused forced intervention by Ukrainian institutions in the matter, but seeks to defend its honor and dignity in court.
