Electricity Problem in Pavlohrad

In Pavlohrad, some residents had to experience a real electrical apocalypse – they had to live without electricity for 34 hours! According to local media reports, the reason for this inconvenience was the illegal disconnection of electricity at the transformer by someone outside the system.

On the night of December 19, in one of the districts of the city, due to constant power outages, local residents decided to contact the police and the emergency service of the DTEK company.

Electricity was turned off on several streets because the transformer was without a lock, and anyone could touch it. Moreover, people noticed that the electricity outages had not been adhered to since November, and the lights were turned off unevenly on different streets.

The emergency service reported that the transformer was locked after an investigation at the scene. Residents demand that the equipment be replaced with a more powerful one, as overloads led to electricity disconnection on several streets until Monday.

Desired Solution

Local residents are ready to submit an appeal to the management of the power grid company demanding to replace the equipment and improve the electricity supply system. We hope this problem will be resolved and similar situations do not repeat in the future.
