The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially denied allegations that journalist Bohdan Butkevich had or has connections with their service. This information has been confirmed by intelligence, reports 'Glavkom'.
“Bohdan Butkevich was not and is not an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate,” the agency reported.

Amidst the scandal that erupted on social media due to the mobilization of journalist Bohdan Butkevich, his wife Marina Danilyuk-Yarmolaeva stated that this happened because of criticism towards Mar'yana Bezuгla. The journalist's wife claims that it was Butkevich who decided to cooperate with intelligence due to health issues that prevented him from serving normally.
