20 million bail has been paid for Borisov in the case of illegal desertion
Former head of the Odesa Regional TCC Yevhen Borisov has already had a bail paid in the case of illegal desertion. This time the amount is 20 million hryvnias, appointed by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
In addition to this amount, another bail of 20,136,200 hryvnias was paid for Borisov on November 4 in the same case. The money was transferred through a company 'Evagrein', which was registered as a legal entity only in 2023 and is engaged in the export of grain and oilseeds.
This is the third amount of bail paid for Borisov. In total, over 100 million hryvnias has been paid for all four criminal cases: previously, 36,364,000 and 44,420,760 hryvnias were paid.
Four criminal cases against the former official
Yevhen Borisov has faced litigation in four criminal proceedings. The scandal began in the spring of 2023 due to suspicions of issuing 'white tickets' to evade mobilization. Investigations have also uncovered other violations, including illegal enrichment.
Currently, two cases have been sent to court, and the State Bureau of Investigation is considering suspicions of using false documents to visit foreign countries. Borisov is also suspected of forging documents related to his participation in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
