Watermelons at the markets can be bought for 15-20 UAH per kilogram, while in supermarkets the price ranges from 16 to 33 UAH per kilogram. The most elite varieties can even cost 50 UAH per kilogram.
As for melons, their price is also impressive - at the markets, they sell for 30 to 40 UAH per kilogram, while in supermarkets the price can reach 83 UAH per kilogram.
This year, Ukrainians have the opportunity to choose where and for how much to buy watermelons and melons, but it is worth considering all options to avoid overpaying for their favorite summer flavors.
