The survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology showed that the majority of Ukrainians are ready to endure the war for as long as necessary. Even among those who hope for a quick end to the conflict, 41% expressed their willingness to withstand any duration of war.

Against the backdrop of intensified diplomatic efforts by the current U.S. administration, some foreign observers believe that the war in Ukraine may soon come to an end. However, the survey showed that Ukrainians are far from such optimism, ready to endure the war longer than one might expect.

The results of the study also indicate that only 18% of respondents believe that the war will end by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, 32% believe that the conflict will last for more than two more years, and 25% cannot predict how much longer the war will continue.

Summary

The survey showed that Ukrainians maintain a high level of readiness to endure the war, despite hopes for its quick resolution. The majority of citizens also expressed opposition to any territorial concessions, indicating the stability of Ukrainians' position on this issue.
