Ukrainian pianist and composer Yevgen Khmara shared about his income, expenses, and the real economy of concert activity. According to him, the main source of income today is exclusively music, and the average monthly income is around 10 thousand dollars. At the same time, a significant part of this money goes to creativity and family. He said this in an interview with Slava Dyomin.

Yevgen Khmara's income: how much the musician earns

During an interview on the YouTube channel Slava Dyomin, the musician noted that he does not focus on monetizing YouTube, even despite the video of playing in the airport in Malta, which has gathered about 79 million views. According to him, the income from the platform was significantly less than expected by viewers.

Instead, stable income comes from concerts and musical projects. On average, according to Khmara, his income is about 10 thousand dollars per month, but there are periods when expenses nearly completely cover the earnings.

The musician emphasized that a significant part of the money is invested in creativity. The cost of one large concert with an orchestra reaches about 2.5 million UAH. This money goes to renting the hall, paying for the orchestra's work, technical support, and the advertising campaign. Often, concerts break even or require additional funding.

An additional item of expenditure is the family. According to Khmara, the basic monthly expenses for a family of five amount to about 5-7 thousand dollars. This includes private education for children, food, logistics, and household expenses. The musician has no loans and consciously avoids them.

The artist emphasized that honest work, paying taxes, and transparent income give a person the right to manage earned money independently, regardless of the amount.
