Singer Khayat in a detailed interview with Slava Dyomin revealed the financial side of his life and music career. The performer shared that his main sources of income are streams on music platforms and fees for concert performances, and there are no other additional earnings.
Khayat earns from streams and performances
When asked about his income the artist replied that they are unstable and can fluctuate. In a month, he can earn from one and a half to two or three, and sometimes even four thousand dollars. The amount depends on the number of advertising integrations, the activity of performances, and, most importantly, the number of song listens on streaming services. The highest income he earned over the years came from the song «Under the Rain and Dark»: in four years, it earned about 15 thousand dollars just from streams.
Khayat's expenses for life and creativity
The singer admitted that he does not have his own housing and rents a place in Znamianka, where he also owns two pets. For living expenses, he finds a thousand dollars sufficient per month. However, the budget significantly increases when he needs to finance releases or shooting music videos.
Khayat does not hide the fact that he takes money lightly and does not possess financial literacy: in order to create music, he is ready to invest all available funds or even take out a loan. Previously, he borrowed small amounts, for example, 1500 dollars, to make an advance payment for producing a track, and then repaid the debt with subsequent earnings.
