TV presenter Oleksiy Sukhanov revealed what his income is made of and how much money he needs for living, in an interview with Masha Efrosinina. He noted that he does not live on high fees and gives a significant part of his earnings to help others.
According to Sukhanov, his financial stability is based not only on current income but also on savings he has accumulated over more than 30 years of work in the profession.
«There are certain savings. You must have a savings fund. You cannot live only for today», he explained.
Income of Oleksiy Sukhanov: what makes up his earnings
The presenter admitted that he has an official salary at the TV channel, but it is not high. At the same time, he currently directs up to 90% of his income to support other people.

Sukhanov also commented on the resonant statement that he needs about 5000 UAH per month for basic expenses. According to him, this amount covers only food, excluding utility payments.
He gave his own example of expenses: about 2500 UAH for food may last him for two weeks. At the same time, the presenter emphasized that he does not lead a luxurious lifestyle.
The TV presenter is also cautious about advertising. He agrees only to those offers he is confident in, and he has even refused to cooperate due to dubious conditions.
According to Sukhanov, his main motivation remains creativity, not profit. He admitted that organizational and commercial aspects of work often exhaust him and distract him from creativity.
