Collision in Stavyshche Village
A school bus and a Jeep were involved in a road accident on the morning of February 19 in Stavyshche, a settlement in the Bila Tserkva district of Kyiv Oblast. The bus was carrying 19 children and 6 adults, all of whom emerged from the incident without injury. The emergency services received the call at 07:53, prompting the duty crew of the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit to be dispatched to the scene.
One person from the Jeep had already been hospitalized before the rescuers arrived. Another passenger from the same vehicle remained trapped inside, requiring the rescue team to use hydraulic tools to free them. In total, six personnel and one piece of equipment were deployed to manage the aftermath of the crash.

This incident follows a recent crash in the Fastiv region, where a 58-year-old man was hospitalized. That accident occurred in the village of Motovylivka when the driver of a Lanos car lost control and collided with a power line pole.

Given the persistently high number and severe consequences of accidents in Kyiv Oblast, local authorities are urged to intensify efforts to enforce traffic regulations.
