National Program 'Health Screening 40+'

Starting January 1, a national program 'Health Screening 40+' will be launched in Ukraine, aimed at the early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health issues. The program is designed for Ukrainians aged 40 and older and provides the opportunity for free examinations covered by the state.

Participants in the program who use the Diya app will receive an invitation for screening on the 30th day after their birthday. The program stipulates that 2000 UAH will be transferred to the participant's card within 7 days after registration. Examinations are available in state, communal, and private medical institutions.

The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, stated that 'this program will allow Ukrainians aged 40 and older to undergo examinations and timely detect risks of chronic diseases'.

The Importance of the Program for Public Health

The introduction of the 'Health Screening 40+' program is an important step towards improving the health of the population and preventing the development of serious diseases. This can significantly reduce the burden on the healthcare system, as early detection of diseases allows for timely measures to be taken for their treatment.

The program also emphasizes the importance of digital technologies in medicine, as participants can receive information and services through the Diya app.
