On January 7, energy workers restored power supply in Slavutych after the blackout that occurred on January 5 due to a Russian attack. This blackout affected nearly 8.5 thousand families in the city.

On the night of January 5, Russian occupiers struck Kyiv region, resulting in the destruction of one residential building and damage to 13 private houses. During the attack, a drone was reported to have hit a private medical center in the Obolonsky district of Kyiv. The death of one person and injuries to four civilians have been confirmed.

Mykola Kalashnyk, a representative of energy companies, noted: 'Slavutych is back with electricity. Power supply in the city has been fully restored, the homes of people are energized again.'

Thus, the residents of Slavutych have regained access to electricity after a difficult period without power.
