Ukraine Risks Losing Diesel Fuel Supplies from Slovakia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia, Juraj Blanar, noted that due to attacks on the 'Druzhba' pipeline, there is a threat of halting fuel supplies from the Slovnaft plant, which is an important supplier for Ukraine. The plant provides about 10% of our fuel needs each month.

Preventing Economic Risks

Blanar emphasized that the attacks on 'Druzhba' pose a threat to both Slovakia's economic interests and those of Ukraine. However, he stressed that Slovakia will avoid conflict with Ukraine and calls for a sensible approach to ensuring energy security.

A representative of Slovakia warned of a possible halt in fuel supplies from Slovakia due to attacks on the 'Druzhba' pipeline, which could seriously affect Ukraine's energy security. This underscores the importance of developing alternative energy resource supply sources for our country.
