Deadly Collision on Vinnytsia Ring Road

A fatal crash involving four vehicles occurred on the Vinnytsia bypass road around 7:00 PM on June 4. One person died, and several others were injured in the incident. Traffic on that stretch has been temporarily halted, with detours routed through the city of Vinnytsia and the settlement of Stryzhavka.

Vinnytsia Oblast police stated:

Due to ongoing initial investigative procedures, vehicle movement on the specified road section is temporarily suspended.

Rash of Road Accidents in the Region

This tragedy is the latest in a string of road accidents across Vinnytsia Oblast:

  • On May 30 around 10:00 AM near the village of Ksaverivka in the Vinnytsia district, a deadly crash killed two people—a mother and her 12-year-old daughter.
  • On May 23 in the village of Klembivka, a collision occurred between a Spark motorcycle ridden by a 14-year-old local girl and an Audi driven by a 22-year-old.
  • On May 19 in the town of Tyvriv, a 15-year-old riding a Honda moped struck a 13-year-old girl. The moped was seized and placed in an impound lot.

These incidents highlight the growing concern over road safety in the region, which demands urgent attention.

The traffic situation in Vinnytsia Oblast is alarming, as this series of crashes points to escalating dangers on local roads. Local authorities are urged to implement measures to improve safety, such as enhancing road infrastructure and driver education.
