The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has decided to allocate 9 billion UAH for financing the Defense Forces units and anti-drone protection. Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that 8 billion UAH will be directed to the 'Drone Line' project and improving unmanned systems in the new units to ensure their effectiveness in combating enemy targets.
Additionally, 1 billion UAH will be spent on ensuring anti-drone protection for evacuation routes and logistics. There are also plans to purchase drones of Ukrainian production through cooperation with the Netherlands, where Oschadbank has guaranteed funding of 837 million euros to fulfill contracts.
In particular, the company Auterion has signed an agreement with Ukraine to supply 33,000 strike systems with artificial intelligence by the end of this year. These systems, which have already been used for Ukrainian drones, will help increase their efficiency and ensure target tracking at significant distances.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense is actively investing in the development of modern technologies to enhance the country's defensive capability and improve the equipment of military units.
